Indigo VOC

Having studied Japanese art at the SOAS University in London, Debby has always been passionate about Japanese porcelain, particularly Japanese Arita places made during the Edo period (1600 - 1868). Showcasing a broad-paneled rim of flowers and fruit and confident brush strokes throughout, these plates usually feature some combination of peaches, pomegranates, and/or ho-o birds, which together symbolize fertility, longevity, and the general cycle of life. Available in both a large and mini version, Debby’s new VOC Indigo pays tribute to these plates, highlighting their unique vibrancy and freshness.
Duck and Deer Designs

Debby’s new large-scale Duck and Deer design is a deconstructed twist on a popular chinoserie theme. It captures the feel of a contemporary Toile de Jouy, with the lone deer presenting longevity and the pair of mandarin ducks symbolizing marriage and fidelity. The pattern is available in two colorways - Aqua and Pink - which are just slightly different in design.
