In its May/June 2021 issue, Veranda editors Rachael Burrow, Sara Clark, and Doyle Wood featured Botanica Trading’s brand-new Indigo VOC as part of the magazine’s “V List,” featuring their “obsessions for now and forever.”

Doesn’t Indigo VOC fit absolutely perfectly in this menagerie of optimistic and historically varied shades? Just gorgeous.

The same issue features a spread by designer (and E&S family member) Michael Devine on ways to harness the “artistic potential of the humble vegetable” for your summer table. “As I started working with vegetable topiaries,” he writes, “I found the range and depth of color fascinating: the ombre spectrum of greens in Brussels sprouts; the Milan turnip’s blushing shades of purple; the clear, pure red of the humble radish (to say nothing of the rainbow parades that came with heirloom carrots and eggplants).”
