When Benjamin Ravan founded Décor de Paris in 1995, he wanted to bring some of the beauty he had witnessed throughout his travels to the world of fine textiles and trim.

He began his foray into the world of interiors by bringing old-world trims from Europe to the US market. The business grew quickly as demand increased for beautiful and unique passementerie. Soon, Ravan added textiles to the Décor de Paris line, sourcing from the finest European mills in order to bring elevated fabric offerings to designers across the world. Today, Décor de Paris continues to offer a fresh approach to adapting classic design for the needs and preferences of the modern home.
