Behind the name
Designer Larissa Miloradovich founded her wallpaper and fabric company, Milola, with the belief that everything in a person's home should tell a story.
Considering herself a "pot pourri" of nationalities, Miloradovich was born in Paris but has roots in England, Russia, Belgium, and Germany, where she now lives with her husband, four children, and more animals than she can count.
Miloradovich's inspiration comes from a mix of cultural identities across lands and time. As a textile designer, she is consistently drawn to antique "lost" artwork she finds in French brocantes, English or German flee markets, or attics holding family secrets. With every one of her designs, she is able to harness her richness of life experience in a visionary yet wholesome way, sparking joy in each and every space.
