Meaning "beyond sky and beyond earth" in Bhutanese, Namay Samay is an artisanal, family-owned fabric house founded in London in 2010, with production facilities based in Bengal and Bhutan.

At the heart of Namay Samay is a love of craft and the creative process. Their fabrics are made in-house using a variety of core techniques, reflecting a world-famous specialty in hand weaves, hand embroideries, and hand prints.

The core aim of Namay Samay is to develop fabrics that possess a warmth reminiscent of old textiles while honoring the traditional weaving heritage of the Himalayas. Even so, the brand remains decidedly global in its character and commitment to making fabrics that are authentic, interesting, and relevant.
