Nile & York

Behind the name

Nile & York is a growing family business, run by Simon Greenland and his two children, Amy and Ed. 

The first range was developed from a silk lining printed by Simon for world-renowned interior designer Jane Churchill. From the success of this first product, the Small Prints range was created using five designs, each printed in the same six colors. Now regarded as a classic, the Small Prints collection encompasses 78 fabrics based on nine small designs covering a wide range of design styles.

Nile & York's Small Prints cotton fabrics have since been joined by the Small Linen Prints, which are made from a linen-cotton fabric woven and printed in England. Coordinating with many interior moods and styles, this second range comprises nearly forty fabrics reflecting five original designs, all created by Simon Greenland.

In addition to the fabrics, all of Nile & York's ranges are now available as digitally printed, wide-width wallpapers. With each year, the brand continues to release new products while adding new colors and designs to all the existing fabric and wallpaper ranges.
