Penny Morrison’s latest COMPORTA COLLECTION draws its inspiration from her new home on the Western coast of Portugal — a wild and enchanting landscape of azure seas, golden sands, pine trees, and aquamarine churches. Calista
Calista is a timeless print evoking European rustic charm, featuring a floral motif positioned in a half-drop repeat pattern. Inspired by the verdant vegetation and beach landscapes of the region, the design visually replicates block printing and traditional embroidery techniques in soft, earthy hues, which help to create a naturally comforting atmosphere in any scheme.

Melides Stripe
With its name taken from a small beach village not far from Comporta, Penny’s Melides Stripe lies at the heart of the collection. A playful and dynamic design, the new Juniper wallpaper takes its namesake from the Juniper tree, certain species of which can be found in various regions across Portugal. Lamp bases
Handmade by expert ceramicists in Portugal, the Comporta Collection’s lamp bases encapsulate one of the most significant and historical crafts of the country: Ceramics.
Portugal’s history with ceramic production goes back centuries, and with skills passed down through family generations, the country is known for its distinctive ceramic tiles coating the outside of buildings. For the collection, Penny and her team have designed three classic lamp base shapes – Tamera, Comporta, and Torca – which are available across eight colorways that capture the hues found in and around Comporta.
Floresta ceramics
Inspired by the forests of stone pine trees found flanking the dunes by the small beach village of Melides, the Comporta Collection contains a full five-piece coordinating set of ceramics, including a large plate, medium plate, small plate, pudding bowl, and shallow bowl. Cushions
Handmade in India, the Saiya cushion demonstrates a seamless merging of Penny’s Indian and Portuguese design influences.
